SBI - STATE BANK OF INDIA

Every year, State Bank of India (SBI) holds the SBI PO exam to determine who is qualified for the position of probationary officer. According to the number of openings, many candidates apply for the exam, but only a select few are chosen.

One of the most coveted banking tests in the nation is the SBI PO. Successful candidates are assigned to various bank branches as Probationary Officers. Prelims, Mains, and Physchometric Test, Interview, and Group Exercises are the three phases of the SBI PO exam. Every year, almost 10 lakh applicants apply to take the SBI PO exam.

SBI Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:
Candidate should be a Citizen of India.
Age Limit
21 to 30 years
In the case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, I 3 years.In the case of: (a) SC/ ST applicants, (ii) 5 years. (b) Former service members (including Emergency Commissioned Officers and Short Service Commissioned Officers) who have completed at least five years of continuous military service and were released upon completion of their assignment (including those whose assignment is scheduled to end in less than a year) in a manner other than dismissal or discharge for misconduct, inefficiency, or physical disability.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a degree in any field from an accredited university, or hold an equivalent certification that has been approved by the Central Government.
Note: Candidates who are enrolled in their last year/semester of graduation may also submit a provisional application; but, if summoned for an interview, they must present documentation proving they completed their graduation exams. Candidates with integrated dual degrees (IDD) should make sure the date of passing the IDD is on their certificate.
